Singapore’s commitment to safeguarding biodiversity is evident in its protected areas, such as the Bukit Timah, Central Catchment, and Labrador Nature Reserves, as well as the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. These reserves act as essential sanctuaries for native wildlife and plant species, playing a crucial role in sustaining ecological balance and promoting conservation efforts within an urban environment.
